New Hostel to Open in Elephant and Castle

Elephant and Castle is getting a new hostel in time for the Olympic and Paralympic Games. Safestay at Elephant & Castle will offer budget accommodation in 407 beds across 74 rooms on Walworth Road. The hostel is located in John Smith House, the former Labour Party headquarters. All rooms include bunk beds and luggage lockers. Private en-suite twin rooms are available, as well as dorms with four, six or eight beds. Guests can socialise in the communal area, and take advantage of complimentary breakfast, a bar, laundry facilities and free luggage storage.
